Artists
Haakon Ellingsen
Haakon Ellingsen is one of Norway's most unique singer/songwriters. He showed his talent for blissed out psychedelic pop with Last James - and as a solo artist he ranges from Beach Boys-esque harmony laden sunshine pop via folksy introspection in the Drake vein to expansive, dramatic soundscapes. His latest offering, The Plum Album, is also an aural tour de force.
In Lingua Mortua
In Lingua Mortua is masterminded by Lars Fredrik Frøislie of Wobbler and White Willow fame. Mixing extreme metal with old school progressive rock, jazz, avant rock and electronics, In Lingua Mortua creates a unique, powerful concoction of aural holocaust and finely tuned musicality.
Rhys Marsh and the autumn ghost
Rhys Marsh, born in England, now living in Norway, is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. His ‘multi-national orchestra’, The Autumn Ghost, features members of Jaga Jazzist, Änglagård, Anekdoten, White Willow and Wobbler. Their debut album, "The Fragile State Of Inbetween", was released in 2008 to great acclaim, and the second album "Dulcima" was released in October 2009. Rhys is also the singer in The Opium Cartel, Ignore, Okasa and Unit.
The Opium Cartel
The Opium Cartel is a project led by White Willow's chief songwriter and guitarist, Jacob Holm-Lupo. Away from his progressive mothership, Jacob takes a more intimate and personal approach with The Opium Cartel, where gentle, mysterious folk rock and sensuous pop intermingle in both acoustic and electronic settings. The debut album will feature a cast of several guest vocalists and musical friends.
Wobbler
Wobbler is a norwegian old-school prog/symph rock band in the vein of PFM, (early) Genesis, Änglagård, King Crimson, Gentle Giant and so on. Lots of mellotrons, moog, hammond organ and other analog keyboards (no midi or modern equiment).
